exists as long as you're exchanging your time for money that is active income and while that's a valid source of income it's not the only source of income there's also passive income so how do you actually start generating passive income that takes me to point number two to generate passive income you have to make an upfront investment it could be an investment of your time or an investment of your money one way to generate passive income with money is by investing in dividend-paying stocks another way is by investing in real estate but we'll talk more about that later in the video the second way to generate passive income is by putting your time up front now you can do this by selling digital products and there's so many digital products you could sell you can sell an online course you can sell a an e-book but what they don't tell you is that you're gonna have to put time up front building and nurturing an audience by sharing valuable content with them over time and then finding out what digital products they need to solve their problems and then you create that digital product for them and have it start selling on autopilot now once you launch an online course it can keep selling itself even if you do nothing else but you have to first spend time up front that's the part they won't tell you you have to spend time up front building an audience nurturing that audience and also creating a course right and then when all that time has been spent eventually that course can begin to sell on autopilot if you're able to funnel people into that course automatically that is passive income now you can see someone relaxing and traveling all over the world after she has laid the foundation for her passive income but it didn't just fall from the sky like she had to lay the foundation by putting in her time up front and that brings me to secret number three the internet is the easiest place to earn passive income if you don't have money up front the fourth secret about passive income that nobody tells women is that it is not a get rich quick scheme passive doesn't mean instant the fifth secret about passive income is that everything that you need to start generating passive income for yourself is already available for free online there are resources their videos their courses that would help you learn how to generate passive income for yourself and the sixth secret about passive income is that real estate is one of the best ways to generate set it and forget it passive income I'm going to share three ways to generate passive income through real estate we're going to start with the one that costs the most money and then we're gonna go all the way to how you can start investing in real estate with less number one is to buy an investment property I'm not even going to hold you up this is the best option if you're able to start a side hustle say save up some money put a down payment on a house and purchase an investment property that would be the best first option because there are two ways you can generate passive income this way one is through rental income and the second way is when the property appreciates in value if you don't have money for a down payment and you're not ready to buy your investment property the second option is house hacking and that's basically renting out some part of your house to generate extra income and the Third Way is by investing in REITs real estate investment trusts these are shares of companies that invest in real estate property so if you don't have enough money to buy your own property they're companies who collectively invest in property by pulling funds from investors like you and I and they use that money to invest in real estate and when they generate income through their Investments
