You Won’t Believe this Three Fund Portfolio is So Easy

I love being able to share great investing ideas and this three fund portfolio strategy from Griffin Milks is excellent! Want more ideas for ETFs to buy? Check out Griffin's top 5 ETFs to Buy for 2021! https://youtu.be/x18NANrmux0

Investing does NOT have to be complicated. In fact, one of the best strategies is a simple three or five fund portfolio with all or most of your money in a few exchange traded funds (ETFs) that give you broad exposure to the asset classes and stocks. This type of investment strategy is not only easy to manage but as stress-free as it gets. Because the funds are so well diversified across investments, you won’t worry about the ups and downs like you do with individual stocks.

Griffin starts by explaining the three fund portfolio strategy, why he uses ETFs and why he loves the three-fund portfolio system. He then shows you how to pick ETFs and why it’s so important for asset allocation. Griffin then explains risk tolerance, shows you how to find your tolerance for risk in investments and gives you example portfolios for different types of investments. Towards the end of the video, he shares examples of the best stock ETFs and best bond ETFs to buy for this type of fund portfolio.

The three fund portfolio is a great strategy with or without individual stocks. You can have all your investment in just three or five funds. If you want to pick stocks, have 50- or 60% of your money in a few ETFs and then use the rest of the money to pick stocks. The fund portion of your portfolio gives you simple, stress-free returns and gives you more time to devote to that small handful of stocks to buy.
