The Membership Experience Ama With Stu And Carrie!

foreign I'm so excited if you're joining us live for this um I'm assuming if you are joining us live for this then you either just really really love Stu McLaren um or you're teetering on the edge of joining the membership experience or both um but either way I'm so excited about Stu thank you so much for coming and hanging out with us and answering questions I really appreciate it we're so busy I'm grateful to be here and uh I'm uh grateful for you your support and uh yes I'm happy to answer any questions that uh people may have amazing I want to get the chat I'm going to get the chat roll up and I want to ask how many of you here loves you oh I see that hey there I'm teetering I'm teetering um oh um so we have some questions that people have been asking but for all of you joining live ask your question over in the chat and we're going to be answering and getting through as many questions as we can um obviously also let me know in the chat how many of you are so many amazing Gods um let me know in the chat if you did Sue's amazing Workshop series and his masterclass um last week you still have to tell you this actually before um I asked you some questions um on the chiropractor's name yesterday yesterday I think it was I was hosting no maybe it was Tuesday I was hosting a live session for my membership and one of the questions I was asking was in April like what was one what was what was the biggest thing that helped you the most it could be like a strategy at all a podcast a book so many people wrote your workshops workshops it came uploads oh that's amazing it's uh this time of year is my favorite time of year because um when we host the workshop so much of it is just helping people process and work through Gremlins that often hold them back and I love seeing breakthroughs like I love seeing people just say you know what like I am I'm tired of being held back by all the thoughts and feelings that often arise and I'm just gonna I'm gonna move forward I'm gonna trust the process and I'm gonna move forward and you know we walk through a whole variety of different things during the workshop we walk through the messaging map and and the founding member launch and so forth but so much of it is just it's just working through those limiting beliefs and those fears that often hold us back and instead saying no more like I'm tired of that I'm ready for it and uh that to me is is it's uh so exciting yeah I have to share this um Glenda mama bear I love that um said in the chat love Stu and yes I watched all the master classes and I've joined the membership experience woohoo um so excited um Amy said I did it last year and didn't sign up in time literally have counted down 364 days until it came round again and someone else said I've joined yeah you know it's um you know what's been fascinating about this Carrie like I I um I don't think I've shared this with you uh yet but this year we have noticed a far larger um audience from Europe than we've ever had before like more uh we typically open registration for the membership experience on a Sunday evening which is not a good time for Europe because it's usually 8 PM our time which is like 1am you know over in Europe and the next day though we I deliver the same presentation again live and it's at 3 P.M Eastern which is 8 P.M you know over in Europe and it was nuts like we saw people from Norway Sweden Finland the Netherlands UK France Belgium Germany Belarus Croatia like all throughout Europe I've never seen as many uh people from Europe who have you know embraced this idea and have uh dove in Full Tilt and then I literally this morning was just chatting with uh two people from our community um who are from Europe and uh one uh woman Bonnie she's from the UK and as soon as she started talking it was so funny uh all the Brits and the chat are like yeah for the prince yeah for the Brits that is so funny yeah it was awesome oh I love it um that's really cool though and um yeah I I feel the same I feel like there's so many more people from Europe now getting involved in this online world it's online space there's so many opportunities and possibilities and it's exciting so I know we have questions and like I said if anyone in the chat has questions if you're teaching on the edge of joining the membership experience that you've got some reservations you're just want more um explanation on something then please let us know in the chat and for now I'll get started with the questions we've received in advance so the first question was from Charlotte and she said a really great question how do I know my membership idea will work how do you have that like that's if you're going to invest yeah well uh Charlotte I would love to be able to guarantee with 100 certainty that your membership idea is going to be a screaming success from the get-go unfortunately I can't do that because the reality of it is is that everybody including you Charlotte are completely different right we all have different skills uh we all have different you know sets of motivation we all have different levels of commitment and we're also all serving different markets however with all that being said there are characteristics of markets that indicate it's going to be a strong case for a membership site so I'm typically looking at first and foremost I'm looking at the customer the people that we're looking to serve and there's a few things that I'm looking at one I'm looking at are they consuming content on this subject matter so how do we find out about that well you can just go to YouTube you can just do some searches on keywords related to that subject matter and you start seeing videos coming up and what I'm looking for like uh you know are people watching the videos are the you know how are the views are people engaging in the comments like are they you know leaving comments so I'm looking for consumption of content you could do the same for podcasts right like we can see you know if uh how many downloads and and ratings and reviews on podcasts and so that's that's one area I'm looking at I'm also looking at are they buying you know are people in that market buying now it may not be like are they buying a competitive quote membership right but I'm looking at are they buying other products other services are they buying other books are they buying other you know uh you know Learning Materials we can go to Amazon we can see like you know books that are selling in that market we can see you know reviews that are being posted that indicate that the sales are fresh and recent we can um yeah there's all kinds of ways to gauge we can also go to you know sites like um oh goodness me I'm drawing a blank but uh it'll come to me anyways there are ways in which we can see the buying activity of a market and again they don't have to be buying quote a membership but they do we do want to see that there's buying activity and then the last indicator that I'm looking at for a market
